evidence-based prototypes

As our world becomes increasingly interconnected and datafied, innovative methods are emerging alongside a generation of young talent. Simultaneously, policymaking demands more evidence-based approaches and tools that keep pace. Taking both trends in mind, the Oxford Policy Hackathon brings together talented students and researchers to develop data-driven solutions for pressing policy questions.

Over an intensive weekend, interdisciplinary teams prototype ideas, test assumptions with evidence, and present actionable recommendations at the intersection of computation and public policy. During the event, we facilitate workshops, coaching, and a comfortable environment to work in.

This inaugural edition of the event takes place at the University of Oxford's Department of Politics and International Relations (DPIR).
